As an honors graduate of the University of Toledo's Arts and Sciences program with a B.A. in English and a focus on general writing, Erin has been interested in developing and sharing information through the written word since she was old enough to string sentences together, thanks to her parents who honed her adoration for books and all things artsy.

In the Middle Earth years of youth, she began crafting her own stories and poems and published a small collection of works in high school, continuing on to publish with her university's English department.

A born and read Canadian with roots in Mississauga, Ontario and branches extending across the border to Toledo, Ohio, Erin migrated south at the age of nine and hopped back home at twenty-two searching for new adventures. She has been fortunate to drive on the Autobahn in Germany, yodel in Switzerland and Austria, and eat cake with chopsticks in China.

Erin spent four years working and training as a chiropractic and billing assistant, focusing on total health wellness and resistance training. Most recently, she worked for two years as a travel counselor, taking the advice and questions of every day travelers into consideration when writing articles, and freelance editing and copy writing part time for several marketing and industrial companies. Currently, she is enjoying contributing to Suite101 strictly as a writer, constantly hunting for credible and reliable resources for both online writing and personal interest.

In her free time, she works on several short stories and enjoys spending time with family and hanging out with her brilliant two-year-old nephew. She also likes anything outdoors, patio BBQs, music festivals, baseball games, art projects, road trips, curling, and keeping fit. With interests not limited to creative arts, travel, psychology, environmentalism, human rights, criminology, animals, and the paranormal, Erin is most anxious to build on her experiences and share them with readers and those with a love of learning everywhere.

Erin is pleased to partner with Beth Doane, founder of Andira International (Rain Tees), as associate editor and is always open to association with other companies in need of an extra set of eyes.
